I am an interactive designer with over 8 years of professional experience in freelance, in-house design and agency positions. I hold a 1st class honours M.A. in Design for Digital Media (DIT) and an honours B.A. in Information and Communications Technology (TCD).

My experience has given me a broad exposure to all aspects of the creative process and a wide range of design styles; as well as building a mastery of the tools involved in developing for interactive media.

I specialise in interactive design, Flash animation and ActionScript development, however I pride myself on being a jack-of-all-trades and am always keen to experiment with new tools and technologies.

I am highly proficient in Flash (AS 2 & 3), Photoshop, Illustrator and HTML/CSS, and have a solid background in JavaScript, PHP, Silverlight, MySQL and other aspects of web development.

Areas I have recently been experimenting in include iPhone development, illustration, video-editing, After Effects and motion graphics.

I regularly design, animate and develop projects independently, from initial concept to final delivery, but I most enjoy working as part of a team that can stimulate and challenge me. In a team, I am a natural communicator and have a talent for lateral thinking and innovative problem solving.
